Reading this brings up an interesting point that i was discussing with some folks earlier. I’ve been reading this blog a lot lately. Strictly for work purposes though (Kevin back me up 🙂 But at this point I admit to be intrigued by Veronica Mars. In fact, I can’t help but admit that there is some very good TV on right now in the realm of scripted drama. Recommend Nip/Tuck, House, Prison Break. But I’m on a TV ban because i’m trying to avoid Reality TV and bad sitcoms. So what am I do to cut straight to the good stuff? Wait for it to come out on DVD and then Netflix it. TV on DVD is huge now and with good reason. I only caught a few episodes of House and then _2 weeks_ after the season finale it was on DVD. I rented and watched the whole season and breathed a sigh of contented relief. But if I and everyone else continue with this wait for DVD trend, how are any of the good shows going to *stay on TV*? It’s a bit of a catch 22. Also Tivo and other dvr devices aren’t picked up by nielsen ratings and more and more people are going that route so they can fit the requisite amount of TV into their busy schedules. Anyway, I’ll watch Veronica Mars because it has long been a feeling of mine that you rarely get to see a good fight these days. Go Aaron!
