Wading Through The Inbox Sea

The final tally was 1,100 unread e-mails this morning. I’m a quarter of the way through, and it’s kind of shocking how many of them are completely useless and not worth reading.

  1. Amazing isn’t it. We live each day by email. How much of my day is taken up reading email. And yet, like you said, a huge portion of what is sitting there is completely irrelevent. This is always more apparent at the end of a vacation. My question, how did work get done pre-email. And, why can’t we work like that WITH email…
Just becuase you CAN send an email doesn’t mean you SHOULD send an email.
