My favorite time of the year

Before I went to the grocery store today, I had eight different types of fresh fruit in the house (and I didn't count faux-fruit like tomatoes or cucumbers). YAY Spring!

    Here in Tylertown we have a farmer's market once a week. On Tuesday 8-1 we can buy locally grown fruits,veggies, plants(flower baskets, pass alongs, etc.) I bought new potatoes for .39 lb. green beans $1 lb. cabbage for ..49 lb. You haven't had really good cole slaw or sauted cabbage until you've had it less then24 hrs out of the ground.
