2003.08.28 Max's First Day of Preschool
Max is in pre-school!!! How freaky is that? He had a great time and is looking forward to going again. He's so grown up now... and he's not even four yet.
Max was really excited about going to school. This is Max's happy walk.
"No, dad, I think I'll take Calculus NEXT semester. This semester I want to concentrate on finger painting."
Jen was very excited too.
Max was really excited waiting outside the classroom.
So excited he had to run up and down the hall to burn off some energy.
A couple big hugs before going into class.
See, Max can do "jazz hands". I don't know what this says about him, and I'm not sure what it says about me that I taught him how to do it.
I love the little-kid couch. Max was wondering where all the chicks were.
Max doing a little exploring as I left. He didn't cry or anything and was perfectly fine when I left him.
Max was waiting patiently at the table when we went to get him.
But, of course, was very excited to see us.
A successful first day of school... now, ICE CREAM!!
Max informed us that we shouldn't call it "Dairy Queen" - it's "DQ".
"See dad, DQ is just easier to say."
Grandma is smiling, but it'll always be "Dairy Queen" to her.
Don't let the smile fool you - she had ice cream too.
And so did Aunt Heather. Jen made funny faces because Max had the camera. Ok, I take that back. Jen frequently makes funny faces, or says things that make other people make funny faces. You see, Jen's funny. She's real funny.
