2004.02.29 Il Neige a la Plage

This is the carousel across the street from my hotel. It's closed, I would have taken a ride.

This was the sky yesterday morning as I left the hotel. As soon as I turned the corner... stuff started falling from the sky. It looked like hail, but was really little snowballs. It was light and cute... at first.

You can kind of see some of the snowballs falling here, and the mountain in the background, covered with snow.

I swear, as soon as I got under the awning, the snowballs fell with fury. They were bouncing all over the place, and grew to the size of chiclets. It was impressive.
