2003.02.16 The Big Snow
Wow, that's a lot of snow! We got around two feet of snow over thirty-six hours. It was a lot of fun to keep up with the estimates for how much snow we'd get, and watch the cars get buried (evidence within). We let Mac go out and play for a while with the twins from next door. He loved it and refused to go in until we dragged him and his pink cheeks inside to warm up.
Before and after. Jen left the spot on the right to show the amount of snow. And that was around noon. It snowed all day and most of the night and only stopped this morning after nine.
But, at least it had company.
Max tried to show the kids how to fly like Harry Potter but ultimately gave up after we convinced that if the planes at the airport were grounded, so was he.
Dad, I think we need a bigger truck.
Go on without me. I can't make it. I'm too old, too weak, too tired. Hey, wait, I didn't mean it! Come back!!
Dad, I think it's time to tell you I'm not really three. I'm really thirty-five and have a family in Akron. I know this is hard to take, but it's the truth. Now, I need my diaper changed, man.
If my fingers weren't so small, I'd make the biggest snowball and peg you right in the kisser, dad. No more shovin' snow down my pants!
Ohm, Ohm, Ohm, Oh my butt is freezing. Dad, can we go in now?
Ohm, Ohm, Ohm, Oh my butt is freezing. Dad, can we go in now?
I am the biggest toddler in the world!! Snow will never slow me down!! Now, where's my hot chocolate?
See, it snowed aaaaa-aaaaaa-aaall night.
No, really, I'm not kidding. It snowed aaaaa-aaaaaa-aaall night.
