I’m a Bush supporter. I watched the debate last night. The words that came out of my mouth for Kerry weren’t complimentary. I was prepared to have an open mind. Kerry’s words only renewed my faith in his idiocy. If we could negotiate with the world, I agree, it would be a better place. But you guys have to realize, negotiating is sometimes impossible. Sometimes it’s better to be realistic instead of idealistic. Because you want something, sometimes words alone do not make it happen. When your child pulls a sharp knife from the counter, he’s say 2 years old. Do you negotiate to get that knife or do you take it away to remove the danger?
The way to make me see Kerry is better than Bush is to give me facts. Give me facts that don’t scare the piss out of me. Give me facts that make Kerry seem solid and strong in his convictions, and I mean his own convictions, not those of the highest bidder. Give me facts, not opinion. I can make my own from those facts. So far, not one of the Kerry supporters I know have been able to do this.
