I had a whole long post I was working on, but Mike’s post says everything I’m feeling, and does it better than I can. Go read it. Think about what’s happened to our country, to our institutions. Governing is a job for grownups, not for strutting, insensitive frat boys who make jokes about rich white men’s houses while poor people are dying in filth.

- FEMA has no plans to evacuate patients at the airport, and 8-10 are dying an hour – update: Apparently they are evacuating people. It smacks of operating without an emergency plan, first they’re not evacuating them, then they are.
Just an FYI – your second link contradicts the title you gave it if you read all the way to the bottom.
Less than three hours after the original post, it was updated to note that FEMA is there, and is working with the military to evacuate the hospitals, and whomever conveyed the information is highly impressed with them.
