Lefty or Righty?

Optical illusion: Which way is the lady dancing?\
I naturally see her moving to the left, while Kevin and Max see her moving to the right. I can get her to switch though, so I must be extra special, right? Article explains the difference.\
Somebody please explain how her outstretched leg switches depending on which way she is dancing. Please please please. Thanks.

  1. Wow. I see the same thing as you – she turns to the left, but if I try (and look back and forth a few times) I can get her to turn right. Bizarre!
And yes, I’m sure we are extra special. 🙂

  2. How odd! At first she was spinning clockwise. After a few moments, she was doing half a turn clockwise then half a turn counter clockwise. Seems like I could control which way she spun by tilting my head.

  3. I only saw clockwise, which if I understand correctly means I’m the right brained, the one all about the big picture and fantasy. Sigh, I hate it when these things are glaringly accurate. Phooey.

  4. Ooh, ooh, I finally got her to go the other way, on accident, when I was trying really hard to read the descriptions carefully. Now I have a headache. Aaaarg!

  5. Wild… I was seeing it go one way, then started watching the base foot and she switched directions. Now I can’t get her to go the other way again… I’m now damaged.

  6. Anyone who concentrates on the feet can get her to move clockwise and then counterclockwise. I’m a lefty and able to see the lady go both ways. So am I left-brained or right-brained? This test is inaccurate. =(

  7. funny though .. i think this picture doesn’t work .. i can see the lady go both ways .. i don’t know if i’m a lefty or righty, i write with my right hand, eat with the left, cut scissors and color using both hands .. don’t know which is dominant
