I am voting for Jim Webb for Senate, but more as a vote against Bush than anything else.\

  1. I’m a DC resident, and moreover, an independent, so I don’t care about this election, but didn’t Jim Webb make his comments regarding women almost three decades ago? Have you not had an opinion or two change in the last 30 or so years? Is it not a sign of positive personal growth if someone once held one (offensive) view but has since changed it based on information, experience, education, etc?

  2. I’m going to say the racist is worse, but only because of sheer numbers. Only half the world’s population is women, but well more than that are ethnic groups other than us crackers. It’s all in the numbers.
