Tech & tech adjacent folk only:
Have you ever seen an innovation team that's work well? This is a team who is solely responsible for testing new ideas and doing some sort of a first version (pilot, test, alpha) to go out into the market. They are not responsible for ongoing maintenance because they go onto the next project.
If you answer "yes" or "kind of worked", I'd love to hear more about what worked.
If this doesn't apply to you, please don't vote. There's a follow poll below.

Do you work on code? Do you code with other people? Your main branch is a commons. If the build for main is broken, it's up to everyone to fix it. It doesn't matter who broke it. Save that discussion for the post mortem so you can figure out how they were able to break it, so you can fix it, so it doesn't happen again.
And celebrate whoever fixed it, because they performed a service to the community. Thank you for fixing the build for everyone!
And then celebrate that whoever broke it found a loophole, because loopholes are cool. Thank you for finding a weakness in the system!
And celebrate solving the mystery and closing the loophole, because solving mysteries with friends is awesome, and now your system is more resilient.
This isn't hard, and it should be fun. #team #software #fun #dammit #oldManShakesFistAtSky
