One of my favorite things ever is Peach ice cream eaten with Sour Cream and Onion potato chips. It’s totally heaven- sweet and salty and so simple and fresh. Yum! It’s hard to find peach ice cream, so it isn’t a delight I get to partake in often. Kevin thinks it is gross, but what does he know?\
What are some of your wacky cravings?

Wow, that is so funny because I was JUST telling Lauren that my mom’s favorite ice cream was peach and it’s hard to find! We did find some this week but I didn’t buy it because I am the only one who would eat it. If I could find a small container, I would get one for the memories alone!
I totally agree that ice cream and chips go hand in hand. The salty/sweet combo CANNOT be beat. That also goes for a good vanilla milkshake and dipping your french fries in it!
I also have this weird mustard/ketchup combo going on. I mix them and them dip my fries in them.
I don’t think I have any wacky combos though. I can’t wait to read other people’s responses though. I have heard of some really odd combinations!
This makes me wonder if you grew up in the southern section of the United States. When I was a kid we would pick fresh peaches, make home-made peach ice cream, and cook our own potato chips. Oh the memories.
I never thought about mixing peach ice cream with potato chips, but it doesn’t sound half bad given that ice cream and pretzels are a pretty good combination. Now I have mixed ice cream and milk shakes with french fries and it’s yummy.
My wackiest combos probably aren’t really all that wacky. Potato chip sandwiches are yummy, but you must slice and fry potatoes at home because the store bought variety isn’t appealing.
My brother once battered fish in a grit mixture and fried them. He was hungry and grabbed the bag of grits without paying any attention. I guess this is the wackiest of them all, but it wasn’t very appetizing.
