Love Actually… Short Version

I am such a girl for this movie. I watched it this afternoon and cried and cried. I blame exhaustion, but honestly, I’m just a big baby. I have more to write on why I’m such a fat blubbering baby, but I’m too tired to write it at the moment.\
I will though, really.

    Movies that make me cry, in order of descending blubberiness:
    * What Dreams May Come (full-on bawl bag)
    * Steel Magnolias
    * Field of Dreams (Hey dad, wanna have a catch?)
    * Schindler’s List
    * The Passion of the Christ
    * Johnny Cash’s “Hurt” video (I know, it’s not a movie, but it deserves to be on the list anyways; if you haven’t seen it, you can find it at “AOL Music”:http://music.aol.com)
    * Monster’s Ball (that poor kid)
    * Blow (the ending)
    * Love Liza
    * Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
    * Magnolia
    I know there are lots more that aren’t coming to me right now. Yep, I’m a big chick. Maybe we should form a club or something.

    This is what’s so great about blogging, I feel so less alone about being a girl about movies now. And Magnolia, amen. And I’m ashamed to admit it (because I don’t like Mr. Costner), but Field of Dreams does it to me every time. In the same vein, so did *Big Fish*, but that’s nothing to be embarrassed about.

    Dude – the end of Saving Private Ryan. Where he’s an old man at the cemetary….cried like a baby. A baby GIRL. You’re definitely not alone. 🙂
