Most of the tv shows I watch are in hiatus now. So, any recommendations for shows I should catch on rerun?
After months, and years, of playing nursemaid, I finally go to play secretary today. Kevin needed something work-related printed out, so I did it for him. And I got a slap on the ass as thanks.
Seen on a t-shirt: Abstinence is for virgins.\
Hee. That is so true! I want that shirt. I would never wear it outside of the house and I don’t wear t-shrts anyway, so it would be a huge waste of money. But heeeee.
I brought Kevin some breakfast, but he is stuck “in a meeting.” Would be wrong of me to steal the breakfast?
I have a raging cold and I already threw up once this morning. With that in mind I have only two goals today: clean up the over flowing trash and stock up the house with food and medicine. Eh, but Brian is sick too, plus I need to wash the dishes and take care of Kevin some (he over did it yesterday big time and is now paying for it.) Max, the lone healthy one, will be with Babba today. So yay for good timing!\
My parents are moving today- so, good luck parents!!!
I walked this morning without crutches (in the big black boot). It wasn’t graceful. There was no striding. There was gamely gimping in mincing little steps. There was some pain and now there is some being worn-outedness. But, there was walking! This is progress. I’ve been on crutches for a month now, and just toddling around the kitchen making a sandwich felt like freedom. There as no carrying bits of things in pockets or under my chin. I was able to carry things with two hands!\
I’m hoping that by Wednesday or Thursday, I’ll be able to go back into the office, even if it’s with one crutch. I’m tired of not seeing the people I work with and calling into meetings. I’m most effective face to face and “local”. This remote stuff is a pain.\
But, I think it’s crutches and ice for the rest of the day. There’s progress, baby!
Kevin is watching a cooking show and I am surfing ESPN.com for sports scores. What are you doing on this fine Saturday night?
You know, if you wanted to get me something for Christmas, and I’m totally not expecting you to. I mean you have your own things to deal with and you’re so awesome, I should get you something. But, in case you were going to ask me what I wanted, even if you’re just curious, then here’s my wishlist
My boys rule, they really do. It’s been amazing seeing how much Brian’s grown since they left. He graduated from baby to toddler in Hawaii, and I missed it. He’s saying words now, walking like a pro, and there’s a new expressiveness in his face that’s hard to describe. He’s more playful and he kisses now, which is really funny. Ok, gotta wrap this up, he’s awake from his nap and needs some roughhousing.
I didn’t go, but I’ve got all the pictures! Here are the sets from the trip that we’ve done so far:
